This one may sound strange, but it works wonders!
Using organic whole milk or cream as a facial cleanser will leave your skin soft & smooth. (My skin can be on the dry side, so I prefer cream).
Wash your face with the milk or cream just like you would any other cleanser. It’s a good idea to use a gentle wash cloth for even more exfoliating action. Rinse and pat dry. ( I usually do this process twice.) Finish with a toner (rosewater is always nice) and serum or moisturizer.
I learned this from a friend with clear, porcelain skin (and later backed it up with lots of skin care research). Legend has it that bathing in milk was one of Cleopatra’s favorite beauty regimens.
The Lactic acid in milk or cream is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and will greatly improve the texture of your skin. It acts as a very mild exfoliant, and helps shed dead skin cells and impurities, while leaving your skin moisturized from its fat content. Depending on your skin, you may only want to do this a couple times a week.
